Prefold sizes - dimensions ? - help

Hello diaper gurus and adepts!

I have been given a stack of beautiful used prefolds in excellent condition in anticipation of my coming first baby. This wealth of prefolds was given to my by a complete stranger on our area parent list serv. She even delivered them to our house, tied up in ribbon! How delightful.

I am a little confused about these prefolds however. There appear to be several different sizes. However, I don't know what is what. Obviously the smallest diapers are smaller (duh), but what dimensions are newborn size usually? What after that? Someone help me to identify these magical unidentified diapers!!!!

Really hard with prefolds. Gmd has lots of colors.
Many others used green and blue. Though I'm not sure what is what.
Honest just sort small to large and use as they fit

If you really want to know, post the edge thread color and people should be able to chime in if they have that color

Wondering if someone could grab a NB size diaper and a yardstick or measuring tape and let me know roughly what the dimensions are?

My infant size prefolds are 11'' by 14''. They are supposed to fit 8-16 lbs

Here are a couple of websites that sell prefolds and list the washed dimensions and size ranges:

And as someone already pointed out the edge colour stitching can be another clue though not always as it depends on the manufacturer.
