Moby Wrap for 6# newborn?

I just purchased a second-hand Moby & was very excited to put it to use asap until I downloaded the instructions.  They state the wrap is to be used for babies 8-35 lbs but my little girl is only 6lbs 2oz as of today.  She was also born 4 weeks early but we're only 2 days away from her EDD.  I've been wearing her with no trouble in a high tummy-to-tummy (tummy-to-chest, really) hold in our linen ring sling.  I want to be able to wear her in a kangaroo hold with no rail/fabric between us which is why I'm so anxious to use the Moby instead of the sling.  I realize I have to be extra cautious because she's a pre-term infant but wondering if I really have to wait until she reaches 8 lbs.  I'd call the company but I imagine they wouldn't tell me anything other than the recommended 8-35lbs for liability reasons.

She will be just fine.  Just remember to check her positioning.

I would use it.

We used a Moby with our preemie (5 lbs)- and just made sure to check her head & neck position to make sure she could breathe.  She loved it.  So did we.
