8 Month Old with a Small Head

I have an 8 month old with a small head.  He has had a small head since birth.  He is now having some delays in mobility and the doctors are concerned.  They don't really know what to do or if there is something to do.  Does any one know what it means if your child has a small head?

I'm sorry you've reason to be so worried about your baby. Do small heads maybe run in your or your dh's family? Is there anyone else in your family with small head? Doctors have been known to overlook family similarities when presented with a baby that falls outside the usual normal spectrum. I hope your baby doesn't have anything seriously wrong with him and is just small.
