Best probiotics for stomach issues?

DS (19m) has mild stomach/digestion issues, they are similar to issues DH has had all his life.  DH has found over the years that he can keep it in check by taking probiotics and eating yogurt daily.  So I'm thinking I need to put DS on probiotics daily as well but I don't know what I should be looking for to help him with his stomach issues.  There is so much out there and it all confuses me!

Any suggestions?

Custom Probiotics are the beast IMHO! We've been using them for a while now and love them!

I really like primal defense probiotic products.  I have been taking the pills myself since 2006, and my kids get the powdered version for kids (even the babies get some in bottles if/when they are having issues).  If putting powder into drinks isn't an option for you (at one point my daughter went months drinking nothing but water), then I just buy whatever chewable probiotic the health food store has for kids.  I have used a few various brands over the years, and they all did their job.

I looked at these earlier today, on the suggestion of a friend, but I was a bit sticker shocked so I looked on.  I thought maybe they were so expensive because they were dairy free and I'm not concerned about dairy.  I realized though that these are a years supply (more or less depending on dosage) so I may reconsider them...  Thanks so much for the suggestion!

Yes, they are a lot up front!  It works out to about $10/month though.  Also, if you email him, he'll usually send you a sample for 4ish weeks!  You can see if you like them for sure.

We use the 6 stain for the kids and I just got the 11 for me.  I haven't started them yet.

Thanks!

How/why did you pick the ones you picked?  I'm having a hard time figuring it all out...

I had sent Harry (I believe that's his name, the owner) a list of our issues and that is what he suggested.
