looking for support for a hba2c in wisconsin (or anywhere nearby!)

i never thought it would be this difficult, but i am having so much trouble finding someone to support my vba2c.  i started with family docs, but they wanted to transfer me to an ob.  so i switched to a nurse-midwife who was willing to support me, but her medical partner wants to break my waters at 41 weeks (both my sections were for going to 42 weeks without progress).  i just want to find someone willing to be patient & not pressure me or use scare tactics or a bajillion interventions!   it's becoming clear to me--from talking to docs & midwives alike--that my best bet is a homebirth.

im at 31 weeks & i am between care providers.  does anyone  have any experience with this in the wisconsin area?  or does anyone know a midwife willing to travel to support a vba2c?  or does anyone know a spot in the midwest that i could vacation at for however many days to be near a midwife who would support me??

Try posting in the Finding Your Tribe subforum for your area. You will get more information there.

Dr. Hartung in Hudson is an OB in a midwives clothing- (usually) VBA2C Friendly, Breech Friendly and  Natural minded being his highlights!  Otherwise I know of a MN (Minneapolis Area) homebirth midwife who was at my 4th's birth (a HBA2C).  Her name is Vanessa Stephans-Coldwater.  GL!
