is FMU necessary/best for home pregnancy tests???

Hey all,

I'm currently in my 2ww, on 7 DPO (the curiosity is killing me!! I've been feeling nauseous but not sure if it's psychosomatic)

I don't want to deal with the emotions of a potentially false negative so I'd like to wait until the first day of my missed period to test, which would be one week from today (friday). I also have a couple of big meetings at work on Friday and don't want to be distracted.

Is first morning urine necessary?? I'd like not to test on Friday morning before my big meetings, but I would loathe to wait until Saturday morning.

LOL... let's see if I even last until Wednesday without testing.

Thanks for any advice.

If you're waiting until the day AF is due then no FMU isn't necessary or even any more helpful really. At that point most tests are sensitive enough to give you a line after any sort of hold. Good luck!!
