Vax friendly ped in Elizabethtown, KY?

DS is disabled and on Medicaid (or whatever they call it here in KY, we've only been here since March).  They sent us a booklet of all the peds in the area.

So my choices in Etown are...

Teresa Dao

Victoria Baula

Pedro Baula

These Drs. are on the list too, but none of them are taking new patients (as of March 2010 when the list was compiled) but I guess it doesn't hurt to call and ask.

Keith Compton

Kristina Knisely

Linnea Smith

Anne Stevenson

Michelle Sumrall

Marquita Ball

Veronica Cammack

Melissa Flynn

Leigh Pearman

Christian Berkhahn

Yasir Saifullah

Anyone have any experience with any of these docs?  DS is 6 so I'm not so much concerned with who is the most breastfeeding friendly and that sort of thing, but we made our decisions to not vax or circ years ago, and I don't have the patience to argue with a stranger about it.

Oh, and I'm willing to go as far as Louisville if necessary, but I'd REALLY rather not considering the gas prices. redface.gif

We see Dr. Saifullah.  Dr. Berkhahn used to practice in the same office, but has since moved to Louisville.  Too bad for us - we really liked Dr. Chris.

To be honest, the issue of my kids' vaccinations (or non-vax) hasn't come up.  We haven't been in for any well-child exams, and my kids have only been sick two or three times.  My son has been there twice, and my daughter once in the four years that we've lived here. Both of my kids like Dr. Saifullah, and he takes the time to answer all of our questions.

I realize that my experiences probably don't help you at all!  We do like Dr. Saifullah and his office.  Our visits there have always been positive.

I have friends that take their kids to Dr. Dao & like them, but i don't know about vax friendly though.

Pearman does not like a lot of our parenting practices, I don't like Flynn, but Ball and Cammack are ok.

Is Dr. Padgett an option for you?
