Worcester Resources for Mama grad student

Thread Starter

I'm moving to Worcester late this summer to start school.  I've been a mostly SAHM to my DD who will be 8 months in June.  I've heard of Mothers and Co in W. Boylston but would love more information.  Mostly I'm nervous about finding a good, affordable fit for day care.  I have loads of questions, mainly:

1. Is there a mama's listserv somewhere where I can get recommendations?  We are an AP, cloth diapering family and I'd like to find someone along those lines.

2.  Are there childcare co-ops?  nanny-shares?  or is mostly traditional in-home day cares and day care centers.  If that's the case, can anyone send me some recommendations (PM if you'd like).

Also, any recommendations on an AP-friendly pediatrician?

Thanks!

Maya

Mother's and company is great!  They have so much for mamas... info, classes, groups and a cute shop!  They have had a class in the past about childcare options so I would call them for info or see about the class.
