newborn hat pattern that ahem stays on?

Any recommendations for a newborn hat knit pattern that stays on. Is a rolled brim best? ribbed edge? two rows knit, two rows purl?

I would like to use this awesome super soft blue sky organic cotton.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I really think a k2p2 rib for the first 4 - 6 rows will provide the most 'secure' fit

Love the nipple hat :) I think I might have to make one of those too! The k2 p2 is what I was starting... Thanks!

Have you looked at LTK's Pilot Cap pattern?  It's easy and stays on very well.  Loved it so much for a newborn that I made two more for the next size up and one for a friend.

Anything bonnet style with ties stays on nicely. I just take them off when I cannot monitor like the car seat.

This one works very well on toddlers, I don't see what it would not stay easily on a newborn head.
