I have seen many threads on here about what to do about school for our SN kids. I felt I should share what I am doing with my oldest son who is SPD, ADD, and Dyslexic. He's also highly gifted. I have been looking for an alternative schooling method for quite some time and have recently come across a program that is almost nationwide that I didn't know existed until now. Most states now have an Online Public education option that is totally free and provides you with all the books and resources you need. They have a teacher and are in a mastery based K12 program that works at your child's pace. I showed my son some of the example lessons provided on the website and he was totally excited. I am excited about this program because it allows me to work around all of his appointments, and tailor his learning style to exactly what he needs. If you are interested in gaining more information on this option you should check out the following website:

I hope this information proves useful to many of you out there with SN or normal children.
