Might be out...

I might be out. greensad.gif I woke up this morning with bleeding, and went to the ER. My underwear were soaked, but since I got up it has been only spotting. They didn't see anything on ultrasound and my hcg was only a 117. They told me to take it easy and see my doctor on Monday. I don't feel good about it, so, we'll see I guess.

Oh cameragirl, I'm so very sorry.  hug2.gif   Maybe they couldnt see anything on the ultrasound b/c you're very early?  Is that possible?

I'm sending you lots of love and positive vibes.  goodvibes.gif

It is possible that we're a week behind where we thought we were. I just hate sitting here, waiting. Right now it is spotting and brown, but it hasn't stopped. I'm crampy, and I don't feel good about that. I'll let you know how it goes. Right now we're waiting for it to get worse or stop, and then Monday I'll call to see if we can come in same day. We tried for 13 months, so that stings the most emotionally.

I am sorry to hear  that. I made a trip to the ER as well yesterday. same thing, a good amount of red blood but then only brown spotting. They didnt see anything with the regular ultrasound but DID see the baby via a vaginal  scan. I saw the heart beating. They could not give me any reason for the bleeding, so I am in the same boat, this awful worried waiting.....I have another ultrasound scheduled for tuesday. I wish I had one of those machines in my house...just so I could check every hour. perhaps you are not quite as far along as youthought and thats why they didnt see anything? I have had two scares in the past with other pregnacies and both resulted in healhy babies.....so, hugs to you hun.

Well, it is official. I had to go back to the ER because the pain was pretty severe and I developed a fever yesterday. My hcg levels dropped to 80, so they are positive that I will miscarry. They think I have a UTI and possibly a pelvic infection. I got antibiotics and pain medication, and I guess I'll hear back on the vaginal cultures in the next day or two. I've got to go in to make sure things are moving along tomorrow. We've been having a tough time with this. We decided to name the baby Avalon, because for us, we need to acknowledge that this was real. I want this part to be over with. I don't really want a D & C, but having this phase over with sounds a lot better than just waiting for the inevitable. Thank you ladies for all of your support. I wish you all the best with your pregnancies! hug2.gif

I am so sorry for your loss....Avalon is a beautiful name....take care mama.

:( I'm so sorry for you and your partner.  Avalon *is* real.

If you're already bleeding it's likely that the miscarriage is happening without the need for a D&C.  I had a 7 week loss and it was fairly pain (physical) free.  Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
