No dog food left, what can I feed my dog!?

I feel so bad, I know it's terrible of me, please no bad messages, I feel guilty enough already :-( I've been sick and just realised we're out of dog food for our little dog since this morning, so I have no food to give her for dinner. What human food would it be okay to feed her for dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow? As being sunday the store is now closed here, so I can't buy dog food until tomorrow.

We are low on our food too, so I don't have any meats or eggs which would probably have been okay for a dog? I have a can of tuna in saltwater, would that be okay for a dog? And I could mix it with some cooked pasta twists? what about peas or sweetcorn with it too? She eats it when I make us tuna sweetcorn pasta if any drops on the floor, so would a portion of that be okay? without any of the mayo/sauces ofcourse.

I'll bet tuna wouldn't hurt, a little peas and corn would be ok too but dogs are primarily carnivores. Really I'd suggest you go ask a neighbor with a dog if you can have some dog food or lean meat.

I think your idea would be fine.  I'd rinse the tuna in water first and drain to remove any extra sodium.

Ya, I would rinse the tuna to get the extra salt off before feeding it. Raw meaty bones would be the best, but if all you have meat wise is tuna then I'd feed that. I hope you feel better !

This has happened to us before. We have done brown rice with cooked veggies, egg and fish or fish oil before. Most of what is healthy for us is healthy for dogs. Sometimes we add that stuff to her diet anyway for a fresh nutritional boost.
