I read this in the paper today.  The article mentioned ones sold at Burlington Coat Factor, Babies "R" Us and other retail stores from September 1997 through December 2001.  I know this is an older co-sleeper, but wanted to mention it just in case someone had one!  Specifics:  "When the fabric liner is not used or is not securely attached, infants can fall from the raised mattress into the loose fabric at the bottom of the bed-side sleeper or become entrapped between the edge of the mattress and the side of the sleeper, posing risk of suffocation."  The article advises going to armsreach.com/instructions to view and download assembly instructions and to make sure that the product is properly configured.  It also gives a # of 800-954-9353.
