Anyone love their alarm company? NOT ADT!!!

We had a major alarm fiasco last night and will be switching alarm companies as soon as possible.

Does anyone have monitoring done by someone other than ADT?  Are you happy with the service so far?

Any companies you've had a negative experience with I should stay away from?

Looks like at a minimum we'll have to replace the control panel.  Most likely the key pads as well but I believe all sensors should be good to go.

From online reviews I think I will be calling Rapid Response Monitoring then looking into some local companies.  I'd love to hear from anyone who has a positive experience.

Have you checked out Angie's List? Not sure they are available for near where you live but we have found it very useful.  Maybe ask a friend who has the service if you can see if there are many options for your area and go from there?

Sorry for your troubles.  I can't imagine that was any fun at all :(
