What is the real difference between 'natural' disposable diapers and the cheap supermarket brand?

I cloth diaper but use  sposies for overnight and long days out. With my son I used 7th Generation or other similar brands. With my daughter I have started just buying the supermarket brand. It's about half the price of 7th G and they are always perfume free, gender neutral and seem to work fine. I know that 7th G are 'chlorine free' but they are not biodegradable. Has anyone done the research to find out what is actually in these diapers?
