Unassisted Birth Stories

I have been looking for a positive birth story book that is specifically geared towards UC. I got a lot of inspiration from Ina May's Guide to Childbirth because of all of the great birth stories. I couldnt find a book, so I started combing through the MDC Birth Stories Forum (so many awesome pages of stories) and pulled some stories out to add to my bookmarks. It seemed selfish not to repost the list so that anyone searching for positive birth stories could find it easily. I havent read all of these, so I cant promise that they are all positive yet. However, I will edit it accordingly. I know that the stories that have endings that were unplanned have their place too, but I was looking specifically for stories that would make me feel inspired to have a UC. I did include any of the surprise UC's because Ive also been trying to figure out how to plan to have an unassisted childbirth at home. I dont know how to make a wiki, so if someone wants to do that, awesome.

There is a book called "Simply Give Birth" that my m/w loaned me that is just a collection of unassisted birth stories. A great read and very encouraging. Sorry I can't remember the name of the author right now (pregnancy brain!) but even DH read it and enjoyed it.

And the book I read when I first decided to have a UC with my first child is titled "Unassisted Childbirth" by Laura Kaplan-Shanley... it goes a little out of the realm of just UC birth stories, but it REALLY encouraged me to be confidant in UC. Although I'll admit, the author shares some ideas that I think are pretty strange but overall her message is a good one, and I read her book during this pregnancy too just to remind me all the wonderful benefits that come with UC.
