Symptoms so far? - Page 5

Buggysmum -- I'm on progesterone too and didn't know that could cause the bb discomfort.  Good to know.

Wow, smells are crazy.  The entire population of the world reeks of sweat (thank you summer) and all bathrooms are pee scented or worse.  I'm constantly checking my DD's diaper only to remember she's in panties now.  Other stuff: restless leg syndrome.  (URG... I despise this when I'm pregnant, but my circulation goes to crap and there's not much I can do for it.  Although I did some late night yoga and that seemed to help.)  Carrots make me nauseous, my face is rivaling a teenager's, bbs feel positively engorged and already up a full cup size, I'm hungry constantly and craving fruit.  So far it seems like DD2's pregnancy, but a bit early to tell.

Sore and tender breasts..

Always snacking..

Tired..

Thirsty..

All in all, I'm quite content! First time :)

Sore breasts

Intense sense of smell

Serious fatigue

Hunger (before I could forget to eat all day until dinner and not notice. Now my belly's growling!)

Constant trips to the bathroom (seriously, at what point should I just pitch a tent  and move in?)

And that's it so far! I can not even tell you how happy I am to not have any morning sickness. With DS I was sick all day every day for nearly the entire pregnancy. If I didn't eat immediately I would throw up everything I ate. Even if I got it all down, it was back within ten minutes of finishing. I've puked in so many parking lots, I was like The Parking Lot Puker: super villain. Now, I have no nausea at all! It makes such a big difference. I feel like I can enjoy this one. (try not to throw too many tomatoes! )

Kristie, I have been so sick this time!  I am still not puking, but I am sicker sooner than with DS.  This does not bode well for the rest of the trimester :lol.  I am wondering if some of it can be attributed to the heat?  It was hot last time, but even for the desert where I lived at the time, it was pretty mild in April and May.  Only in June on did it get hot.  THis time I am in AZ with 110+ weather right at the beginning of my pregnancy.

Oh my.  My sister keeps asking me if "the dreams have started yet", and they, um, started last night.  Wow.

Every day, I wake up with bb's that are more sore than the day before.

Much better sense of smell.

Tired.  I go to bed at 9pm every single night, and sleep until 7am.  I used to go to bed at 11:30ish and wake up at 6ish.

And, I cried reading a book to my 2 year old son.

I'm not sure if this is a direct symptom or not, but I am EXTREMELY grumpy.  I have so little patience, DH has had to be very gentle with me because it seems like anything could set me off.  In past pregnancies, I was emotional, crying, "I just love you so much."  With this one, not so much, lol.  I can hold my patience with my kids (barely), but it's a good thing my DS can't read my mind while I'm helping him through a tantrum.

So my breasts are enormous, my nipples are sensitive, I'm exhausted, I smell everything, and I'm nauseous on and off all day.

Recently my dreams have gotten really vivid.  A few nights ago DD slept for longer than is usual and didn't come in until 4 am.  Usually I wake up bc I'm worrying/missing her.  Instead I stayed asleep and was having a very vivid and intense dream.  In that dream I kept seeing her image as a newborn.  I was woken from the dream when she came in-- and all of a sudden I realized that in the dream I  was seeing the new baby not her.  It was really weird; and makes me wonder if baby will look much like his/her very cute sister!

my latest symptom is really horrible insomnia.  During the day I'm so tired I can hardly function, and at night I toss and turn.  I am really hoping things start to go a bit more smoothly in the second trimester.  I am really, really happy to be pregnant, but wish I felt a bit better so I could enjoy it more!

I am 7 weeks along tomorrow.

So far the symptoms I've had are: nausea, cravings (just started a couple of days ago....it seems like every day I'm craving something different and I HAVE to eat THAT.....or else!) extreme exhaustion....been taking a daily nap, breast soreness and tingling, light "period like" cramps in abdomen and side occasionally and lower back cramps (which THANK GOD are not nearly as bad as last time when I had to wear those self heating pads on my back like every day!) and rosy cheeks.

The symptoms I've had in previous pregnancies that I have NOT had this time around (yet anyway) are: sensitivity to certain foods/odors, dry eyes (used drops for my contacts like 3 times a day), a specific food item craving....all day every day (last time was coconut.....had watermelon and crab meat another time) or extreme breast soreness to where you can't touch them or raise your arms to change shirts because the breast muscles hurt too bad!

Basically I am glad for the symptoms that I do have this time around and thankful for the ones that haven't showed themselves!

-Sore boobs, but I only notice when DD is nursing. She's 3, and directly after implantation, she tried to nurse all night, and there was NOTHING there. I was very worried the milk was gone, but it came back the next morning (yay!)

-Exhaustion, also, usually from 11 am until I either nap or get a second wind. I work from home, thank God, I don't know how I'd do it at a "real" job LOL....and I'm grateful that my daughter still naps half the time.

-Sensitive teeth...but that might just be me.

-I was having mild cramping on my left side, maybe continued implantation cramps?

-I was pretty regular, bowel-wise, but have had a bit of constipation the last couple of days.

-Very irritable. I'm hoping that goes away. I don't like it.

-Not quite dizziness, not quite light-headedness....just a weird kind of floaty head feeling..does that make sense? Although I do get periods of absolute light-headedness very rarely.

That's about it. I'm really hoping I can avoid ms this time around, too - my preg with DD was lovely up until the end when my blood pressure went up and I gained about 15 pounds in water. ugh.

I've had that "I feel so good I might not be pregnant!" feeling but I did another test today and it was a def pos (clear blue, it SAYS "pregnant" haha). Have a midwife appt on July 21. I felt this way last time, too.

Hope all  you sick ladies feel better soon!

Tomorrow I will be at week 8, based on a dating ultrasound.  LMP started on May 9th.  I'm curious what other people with a similar LMP have for a due date.

Symptoms as of my last post are the same, but have mellowed a bit.  Like I said before, when not pregnant, I feel pregnant.  I actually feel OK now. My strongest sense is of keeping everything around me mellow.  I bought a gigantic umbrella and a new lounge chair and have logged many blissful hours reading while my daughter and her friends play in the sun.   I was so incredibly sick with my first pregnancy that maybe my body knows everything is OK and is cutting me some slack.  Or it's a boy.  Or I'm just OK.  I've thought of getting the blood tests done to make sure my pregnancy hormones are going up but I don't want to start that if I don't have to.  I'm trying to just remember the facts that I have each day.  Today is OK!

My LMP is also May 9th, but I know I didn't ovulate until CD 21. So, I'm more accurately 7w3d. My EDD is Feb 19.

Hi ladies!  I have been so busy lately, I barely get to check this site anymore!

Sorry if this has already been said....

Anyone been feeling pretty good through their pregnancy so far?  No morning sickness?

Just wondering...
