Wow, naturegirl, that chart is crazy!

aimeebaby & naturegirl---congratulations!!!!  sooo happy for you both. :)

Naturegirl, that is absolutely wonderful news.  It is such a hopeful story for us all.  So happy for you!!  Just had a question:  I'm not familiar with Fertility Friend, since I chart the old fashioned way-- paper-- so I need to ask you about what you said was a period... How many days did you bleed for?  The reason I'm asking is because I want to become aware of that kind of thing possibly happening-- how would I know if I was having a regular period or something like what happened to you?  Lightness of flow, duration?  Ha ha, I've seen those shows too, and it does seem like it would be hard to miss-- mind you the folks don't discover they are preggers until the baby is being birthed-- well, on the one show I watched, anyway.

AimeeBaby, congrats on your bpf!  Weren't you saying in an earlier post that you weren't sure about this cycle, because the timing was off?  Again, this is also hopeful for us to hear!

Carmen, things are sounding good.  Hooray for a longer LP!  Are you going to test again tomorrow if AF stays away?  Best wishes for a bfp!

Does anybody know what the effects of an increased amount of nursing is on one's cycle?  My son has a gastro bug and that's all he's been able to take in for nutrition for the last 3 days.  I'm really wondering about that, after finally getting a longer LP this last cycle...

I had moderate flow for a couple of days and light flow for one. I usually get one day of heavy, one day of medium and 2 days of medium/light. So it was "slightly" less than usual but nothing that didn't make me think it wasn't the real deal. My clue was having spotting about 5 days after the "period" ended. I don't normally get mid-cycle spotting unless something is "up". This similar to the is the pregnancy chart from my first son born in August of 2004. With him the flow didn't get past light but it lasted for days. I think I had bleeding or spotting for well over a week. He also clung on for dear life!

Temp went down this morning and af showed up early this morning greensad.gif Oh well, first try so I guess I can't complain too much yet! My cycle was SO much better this month so I'm consoled by that. Please move me to waiting to O.

carmen, too bad about AF, but you sound really positive about where things are heading so that is good!

Some of the temps are indeed about 45 minutes laterthan normal; however, some temps are within the range that other closed circle temps are in - for example, I have a 6am temp that is a closed circle, a 6:20am temp that is a closed circle, and then a 6:15am temp that is open? The CM around CD23 was not nearly as stretchy as the CM near day 17, though it's obvious at this point I definitely did not ovulate then. I am back to watery CM and have been cramping for the last several days, but this morning my temp was even higher. I'm sure we'll be seeing AF in the next few...it's been a weird cycle so far. I usually run 31 day cycles (when not BF) and ovulate around CD17 - hence why I was so quick to trust FF  =) I'll be a bit more cautious next cycle, but am a bit confused by the CM. Sometimes mine is a creamy/EW mix and I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. CD23 CM was thicker, less strtchy and not clear the the CM around CD17....so confused right now lol. Crazy body!

I guess I want to formally join.  I was in 2WW, but now need to be moved to Waiting to O.  I got a BFP, but m/c.  My plan is to chart temps this cycle and then use CBEFM the next cycle.  Guessing it will take awhile to get things back in check but seeing as I lost it so early on, hoping it's not terribly long.

DS is 18 mos and nurses 2-4x/day.  He is nightweaned, but I noticed the biggest difference in my cycle when I made a concerted effort to redirect him during the day.  I'm happy nursing him but DH and I want to grow our family and sooner rather than later.  It's a tough balance though b/c DS loves his 'nuk'-ing . :)

I can't remember who suggested I start vaginally bbt'ing but I wanted to say thank you! So much better. I have to thermometers and for fun i took one orally and vaginally at the same time, orally was 97.3 and vaginally was 98.1 so this could have been what was throwing my charts off! I finally got a coverline this month too for the first time. I'm thinking that because i've been so hot at night and running the fan, i may be mouth breathing from being stuffy which was throwing my temps off. I'm excited because i had a post O dip and now my temps are back up. Hoping they stay up!!
