1000 minutes June!

You guys did great in May! I saw a ton of you hitting your goal. Good luck in June!

 

I totally didn't hit my goal. Good excuse, I was laid out with bronchitis that turned into a brutal feverish sinus infection. But this month I'm bound and determined. A lot of my minutes last month wound up being walking (I live urban and walk to actually get places a lot), which is great movement, but I want to balance that with more rigorous working out. So I'm tracking both. I also want to incorporate more weight/strength training -- I feel like I'm too heavy on cardio and pilates now.

 

June 1 -- 45 minutes walking, 45 minutes weight training and abs

 

Walking total: 45 minutes

Workout total: 45 minutes

Total: 90 minutes

Mind if I join in for the first time?  Do I count any and all exercise type of activity?  I ran for 25 minutes this morning and then walked the kids to school so round trip that was 30 minutes.

Ok ladies..I'm back! I really need to keep better track of my workouts.

I'm in this month, but my goal will only be 600 min. I am a total summer slacker.  I'd much rather hang out at the pool with my kids than work out!

I hear ya Nola!!!  I usually meet my goals in the summer because all three of my kids run cross country.  So when I take them to practice - I just run too.

 

So based on that - I'm gonna try for my 1500 again.  I have failed so many times - maybe June will do it!

I'm keeping my goal small...Can I add a before picture too? It keeps me motivated to know that someone will be looking for an "after" in 23 days!

 

 

6/1-6/6  - Just a guess but I think it was 40mins of various exercise (I kind of seriously bruised my finger when my son dropped a weight on it...)

       25 minutes ride in the afternoon - went a different way
