Alice - feel better!!! I hope you are able to get some answers!

Bela - it's still early! Don't give up hope! Keep testing if your temp stays up dust.gif

Welcome.gif Casmer! I hope your stay here is short!

Kayluhh and Casmer - when you log into your FF on the far right there is a "sharing" tab. Under the sharing tab select "get code". You will find the URL to your chart there and that is what I need to post a link winky.gif You can also customize your URL if you wish.

YES! I think it could be. Implantation usually occurs between 7-10 days! I read it can be as early as 3dpo and as late as 12. I remember you saying you usually have a long LP so I doubt it is a sign of AF coming. dust.gif

*edit* I just checked your chart and it even looks triphasic to me...

Thanks SilaMarila. I'm having on and off cramps and my boobs are tingling. I'm trying to be nonchalant about it but I'd love if this cycle I get my BFP.

My lp is on average 16 days. The shortest lp was 15 days and the longest was 17.

Thanks for the new thread Sila! Can you add my chart please? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/tlynn Thank you!

Welcome newbies! wave.gif

AFM, Had my 3rd pelvic u/s and my HyCoSy on monday. Good news - my fallopian tubes are fine and a miracle happened! My persistent complex cyst on my right ovary was GONE! No laparoscopic surgery for me!! Now when I go back to the OB I am expecting a for sure diagnosis of PCOS (no evidence of endometriosis in the u/s, yippee! but the right ovary is also polycystic) and hopefully some Clomid and Metformin.

GOOD MORNING LADIES!!! Coming by to update and say hi. Im going to read in a min and do some specific Hello's, but just wanted to write an update.

Been a busy week, Im a nursing student (done in December) so ive been at clinicals and class. Spent some much needed time with DH and today with the kids and DH.

As for me, I was taking clomid in hopes it would do SOMETHING to end the neverending cycle. Low and behold 2 days of Clomid and AF showed her utterly nasty self. I have notoriously light AF with no cramps and like 3 days of bleeding. This is the MOTHER of all AF's. Sorry if this is TMI, but its bad and Im in pain. But on the bright side, it starts the cycle over! So now I have to stop the clomid till day 3 (Sunday). Im hoping the hag passes somewhat fast. Soooo CD1 for me!

I have a temping question, I used to temp very regularly before I had my girls, but now the problem is, I have restless mornings from like 4-7 am, Im tossing and turning and am moving too much to take the temp, or I get up to pee and dont have 4 hours of consecutive sleep. I really want to temp, but not sure I can because of my sleep patterns. Suggestions?

I would just try taking it at the same time every day no matter what kind of sleep you get.  I'm up any number of times a night nursing my toddler or peeing, and my temps aren't always perfect, but I can certainly see a trend.  If you have a particularly bad night, note that (especially if your temp the next day is out of your normal range, but it will take some experience to get to where you can make sense of that), but you should be able to see a trend.  Feel free to post and ask questions on your chart if you need help.

I agree with JMJ. Try a cycle of charting taking your temp at the same time no matter how much sleep you have gotten. You should be able to see a noticeable pattern and temp shift. And of course we are always here for chart help!

Just wanted to share an update. I had an appointment with my acupuncturist yesterday. She told me to stop temping. I almost started crying right then and there and realized that TTC has become more of a control thing to me than I thought. So, as of today my thermometer has been put away for a little bit (I had to take one more temp just so I could have closure on the issue and be certain I didn't O a few days ago). She says give her 3 months. It's going to be really hard for me to just let it be and let her do her job. Before I go see her next week I'll POAS just in case and unless something happens before then (miracle BFP or I'm bleeding) she is most likely going to trigger menstruation (which I guess would really be annovulatory bleeding since I haven't O'd?). From there she will stimulate estrogen and progesterone ect. and hopefully get me to have a normal cycle. She is very confident that I will get pregnant quickly after this. I am really happy that she isn't going to wait around and waste too much time waiting for my body (because I don't want to wait another 40 days either!). It is incredible how much she has already figured out about my body! I am still going chart any changes in CM and cervix so I can keep track. DH seems to be on board and I hope he is able to continue being supportive. I know he just wants me to feel better and really does want a baby. Thankfully my insurance is great it isn't going to be extremely expensive. I'm praying that it is all worth it. I am putting a lot of faith in this and am trying to diminish thoughts of possibly being let down. I really don't want it to come down to fertility drugs and painful tests...

SilaMarila - I'm so happy to hear that you had a positive experience with your acupuncturist. Acupuncture and herbs are AMAZING for fertility. Maybe it'll be a really great thing for you to stop temping for awhile and take a 'break' so to speak so the acupuncture can help bring your body back into balance. I truly believe her when she says give her 3 months... did she explain why 3 months? In case she didn't here's a excerpt from a blog post where I wrote about this topic:

Quote:

Nourish the soil before you plant the seed

Farmers and gardeners understand the importance of preparing, tilling and fertilizing the soil long before they plant their crop. They understand that the nutrients contained within the soil provide nourishment for the plants whole life cycle, not just germination. This analogy is a great example of why preconception health is so important. It should be considered a component of preventative medicine, beginning up to 12 months prior to women consciously trying to become pregnant. Creating a safe and nourishing home for that little seedling to grow will help ensure its survival from germination to maturation and enable it to thrive.

Did you know that it takes over 3 months to mature the egg to be ready for ovulation and over 3 months for men to produce a new batch of sperm? During this time they are extremely sensitive to nutritional deficiencies and exposure to toxins – so much so that if the quality of the egg and sperm are low enough you may not be able to conceive! The good news is that better quality sperm and eggs lead to increased fertility, reduced risk of miscarriage and healthier babies.

There is A LOT she can do in 3 months to influence the quality of those eggs :) Also, during the 3 months I would 'act as if' you are already pregnant. Is there anything you would absolutely DO or NOT do if you knew you were pregnant... that will help as well. All the best to you!

I'm going to visit an acupuncturist as well. Even if you aren't having issues TTC I think it's a great way to optimize your health and menstrual cycle to increase your chances of a BFP :)

Thanks PrenatalCoach! She started to explain to me but her english is often hard to understand and I have so many questions I think I kind of interrupted Sheepish.gif But it makes sense now!!! I hope I am growing some nice strong eggs in there! I am confident that if I can just cycle regularly I will be able to get pregnant fairly quickly. I have no LP problems and never bleed unless I have a true period which makes me think I have good uterine lining and that there is plenty of time for an egg to implant in there.

I read your article and have been doing just about everything you suggested for a few years now (since planning to conceive DS). It is easy to get frustrated because I feel like I am doing everything right and my body just isn't listening! The only thing I didn't get a chance to do this time around was a cleanse/detox because I was breastfeeding and then training (triathlon) and needed the energy and nutrients to train/BF. Now I don't want to lose all the nutrients I have built up!

3 months seems like a really long time and it's easy to think oh I should just sign up for some events and start training again! Buuutttt, I don't want to take energy away from building strong little eggs and when I inserted training into the things I would DO or NOT do if I were prego - I would NOT exercise 3hours a day. But I would exercise! So I have since started a more core focused routine do build up a strong core in preparation for a big belly and have drastically cut down on the amount of time I am spending/day exercising. I also want to get back into yoga which really helps my anxiety, and anxiety doesn't help TTC.

Other than that I am just going to do my best to sit back and let the acupuncture do the work! DH has been warned that if I start having regular cycles and still no BFP that it's his turn for acupuncture orngbiggrin.gif

SO excited for you to see an acupuncturist!!! GL!!!

Sila- Im proud of you (listen to me, ha). Its a really hard thing to put that thermometer away and just relax for a bit when there is something you want so badly. I admire your strength! I t sounds like your accupuncturist is pretty awesome... :))) I wish you all the luck in the world ;).

Thank you for temping advice ladies. I appreciate it.

This was an ODD period. It was like a day of thick blood/ dark red/ brown, then mucousy like eggwhite with red blood mixed. Not on a pad, barely on a tampon, weird. But going on day 3 now. So I guess I restart the clomid tomorrow? I did temp this AM... 6:45 am was the time that made sense this am.... So im setting the alarm for 6:45. :)))) Hoping to see some sort of pattern this month. Im praying that I O. Just will be happy to know im oing. DH is so cute he says he just KNOWS we are going to get pregnant fast. LOL. I actually wouldnt mind getting pg more in the fall since I liked having a summer babe last time. But i'll take whatever god gives us.

Hope all you lovies had a wonderful saturday.

Well, AF showed up last night for me. After a long talk, my DH and I have decided to give it one more go before we stop TTC for awhile. Technically, that means I might have a newborn during the first month of my program but neither one of us wants to give up trying right now.

There is my chart :))))) Hope that works...

DH and I just ordered IC's OPK and HPT's. He is so into it which is SOOO nice. :)))) I think we might attempt the Shettles method for a boy. We are REALLLLLY hoping for a boy.

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! I have orientation for my new job tomorrow, tues, and weds alllll day. So I am hoping this week goes by fast. I started the clomid today. I'm done thursday, then we are supposed to DTD at least EOD for 7 days. We mostly DTD daily, so im not sure it matters for us. I took an OPK tonight and it was darker than last nights. I was pretty excited. Not darker than the control, but darker than last night. YAY! I hope that means something haha. Anyway. Will check in again tomorrow.

Belac- what program are you going into? That was the major hold up for me. Im graduating nursing school in December and didnt want to worry about the baby coming before school was a over... Sounds like you and ur DH are really on the same page with wanting. Im sorry, that is tough and I totally understand. ((HUGS)))

NANandAUBIE - I am starting my Masters in Teaching program in March. It starts spring term, stops for summer term and continues in fall through next spring. I really don't want to have a baby during the program but I also don't want to have my kids spaced too far apart. It's a tough choice all around.

N&A- Thanks for the support!!! Your chart has been added. Best of luck on getting a boy! Have you read the method in Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I think it works winky.gif

Bela - hug2.gif I'm so glad you and your DH are on the same page. I agree, it's hard when you both want it so much. No matter what the timing will be perfect and it will all work out!

so my temp jumped HUGE this am. WEIRD. this is all confusing. Start clomid, get a semi period, goes away after 2 days, restart clomid, EWCM on what I think is CD 3, neg OPK and then a huuuge temp spike. I know one temp doesnt mean anything. Im just a little frustrated and venting about this poopy cycle.
