For a friend--

What is the procedure for claiming vaccine exemption in Montg. Cty?

Thanks!

(I'm a homechooler in Howard County, I know nothing about this in any county!)

I signed the bottom of the health form that said about religious exemption.   That was it in Maryland ( for me anyway  the health assistant tried to question me and the secretary piped up and said.... YOu can ask her about her religion the supreme court said so)  That was it.

There should be a checkbox at the bottom of the form the schools use for vaccine history.  If they are using a different form that doesn't have the box there, she can simply write a statement saying that she doesn't vaccinate due to her bonafide religious beliefs and practices and sign it.  That's all she has to do legally.  If someone asks her to explain, she can say that she is not obligated to disclose anything further.
