weird gold-ish brown-ish mold? in my tomato garden

This fungus is growing at the base of one of my tomato plants.

Suggestions?

on the soil at the base of the plant. Nothing on the plant, yet anyway.

Is it this?  A common, rather gross-looking but harmless slime mold.

This is not it, it's much more brown but we do get that slime mold during the summer months.

This is only at the base of this one tomato plant, the others are all perfectly fine. The plant looks fine, doesn't seem to be affected by it but I'm a bit nervous.

Also, I can't find this mold online. I need to get out there with my camera and just post a pic here. I'll try to do that after while.
