How big was your boy at 2y4m?

Hi.  I am trying to plan my car seat life with some expiring seats and two kids.

At 18 months ds was 22.1 pounds and 33.25 inches, and I have a car seat that expires when he is 2y4m.  I am trying to decide how heavy and especially tall he will be around that age.  He is 20 months now.

I know this isn't very scientific, but please share your boy stats with me.

TIA

My son is 2 years 4.5 months and weighs 30lb and is 36" tall

At 18 months he was 25lb and 33" tall

I had a Britax Boulevard for him but it only rear-faced to 30lb.  As he approached 30lb I sold it and bought a Radian which will keep him rear-facing to 45lb.

About 22lbs, and 33" tall at 2.5.   He is almost 4 now and is 26-27lbs and 36" tall.    He is in a radian XTSL rearfacing.

Thanks!

I have two Cosco Sceneras, which rf to 35#.

With dd height was an issue before weight in the Evenflo Tributes, and also ff in the Sceneras -- not sure if it will be with ds too.

Of course, since I posted this I realized I am a complete idiot (or completely sleep deprived) and the seat expires when he is 3y4m, not 2y4m...that makes all the difference!  (The other seat expires 5 months earlier, but I'd probably get by on one before buying a new seat at that point).

I'm still interested in how big my boy might be in a year -- planning to keep him rear facing as long as I can!

Hi Sunnygir1,

Don't be so hard on yourself.  Do you have a growth chart from the doctor's office?  Or just plug recent stats into something like http://www.infantchart.com/ to give you an idea of how big he'll be at age 3.

I'm not really being hard on myself -- I guess I should bust out the smilies to indicate the mood of my comments.  ; )

Thanks for the idea.
