Cell Phones on the Belt & TTC

Thread Starter

DH wears his walkie-talkie & cell in cases on his belt.  I have asked him to make sure his holders are anti-radiation.  He's "looking into it" :)

Do you encourage your DH to take care with his cell and keep it stashed in a "safe" holder?

Have you conceived when your DH wasn't doing this?  (Just curious)

Just thinking that if I want him to do this I need either raw statistics or buy it for him myself.  I am guessing that a Verizon store would carry such things?

Thanks!

Just anecdotally, my husband always carries his cell phone in his pocket, and we didn't have trouble conceiving. If cell phones really killed male fertility, everyone would have fertility problems! And there would have been a big jump in them over the last 10 years or so, since cell phones have gone from uncommon to pretty much universal. Maybe it's an issue for people who are borderline, but I can't imagine it's really as big an issue as all that.

On the other hand, if you can afford the anti-radiation gadget, and it would make you feel better if he had it, it can't hurt to get it. I agree that it sounds like if you want this done, you should probably buy the cases yourself, just because it is more of a priority for you and that way it will be done, and you won't have to keep bugging him about it.
