Hey everyone! I just registered to this forum and I'm looking forward to meeting moms like me who have children with:

1) Allergies

2) Asthma

3) and Eczema

Technically, I still have one kid right now. He's almost 4 and he has all these three conditions. Now I'm quite sure he hasn't outgrown his allergies and eczema since he's already past 3 years old. As for his asthma, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will outgrow it by the time he's 6 years old.

My second child is still on her way. Yes, I'm having a girl this time. I'm kinda hoping she won't have any of these three allergic conditions which my firstborn has.

In general though, I'd like to connect to ALL mothers here. Motherhood is tough and we could help each other through this forum.

My son has food allergies, has reactive airway (like asthma, but no attacks) and had eczema as a baby.  I have only one son, biologically.  He's 7, I'm done having kids.  But my boyfriend has 4 kids, 2, 3, 6 and 7. Some of his kiddos have ezcema, allergies and food allergies as well. So together we have 5 kiddos.

Hey JeniferD! It must be tough having all those kids under your roof now. The "supermom" avatar suits you! Lol.

It's the allergies and asthma that we mommies need to be careful about. These conditions could restrict the airways of our little ones and keep them from breathing :( But eczema is still something we should worry about because the skin condition could psychologically impact our children, especially in their teen years when peer pressure is heaviest.
