medical claims processing?

I have an opportunity to apply for a (legitimate!) medical claims processing job that can be done from home.  Before looking at the job description, I was under the impression that it would mostly be data entry (I type very quickly).  However, it seems that there is more to this particular job than data entry...does anyone here do medical claims processing specifically, and if so can you tell me exactly what it entails?  I am having a lot of second thoughts about even applying anyhow, since it's apparently full-time rather than part-time, but I am still very curious in case a part-time opportunity becomes available in the future.  Thank you for any advice you can give!

My sister was taking classes towards doing medical billing stuff at home, and she had to take an anatomy & physiology class.  I don't know if this is the same type of thing or not.
