What next! more vitex or no?

still nursing DD and ttc- just had a loss at almost 9 weeks, after 1 month of vitex. Do you think I should take vitex again now or not? could the vitex be somehow involved in the loss?

My understanding is that vitex helps to regulate fertility hormones, increasing what needs increasing and decreasing what needs decreasing.  I hear that most people take it for about 6 months before seeing good results.  I've also read that it is safe to take in the first trimester as a miscarriage preventative. But it is generally recommended  to discontinue use once you get your BFP simply b/c it's an herb and it's generally best to avoid use of herbs/substances that have not been clinically tested to be safe.

I've taken mine for not even a month and have already seen results in moving my ovulation up a few days. I was specifically told to stop taking it once a BFP has happened!

I would say, take the vitex again. Sorry about your loss, and good luck!
