Natural/Organic Resources in and around Pontotoc MS?

Hello Ladies!

We just moved to Pontotoc about a month ago from MA. I miss MA! I am having a really hard time finding organic produce and other foods. I also need to find things to do with my 2 1/2 yr old (I have a 5 month old too). I did find my local LLL-Yay!

So if anyone could point me in the direction of some organic food and fun things to do, it would be greatly appreaciated!

I also need to find a pedi or family practitioner who is breastfeeding/intact/non-vaxing friendly.

Thanks!

Hi amanda! It's Mandi.

Try Dr. Ivansic in tupelo (my sis is happy with him)

Square books Jr has a fun storytime in oxford...only 1.5 years since I was in your area and I cant remember what day it was on! lol! We loved Avent Park in Oxford, Tupelo has Ballard and Veteran's parks (the splash pad). Um, I will keep thinking. We lived in Oxford for awhile before moving to my hubby's late great aunts farm in Randolph, so I know the nothing to do-ness of Pontotoc county :) Hate we missed each other! I'm in starkville now, but come to tupelo a good bit. (will be there over the 4th for sure!)

Is the health food store still in Pontotoc? Michele that owns it is SO nice! There is zion farms for organic meats/eggs and several farms in Oxford/Taylor w/ organic produce. I miss the farmers markets there!

I'll keep thinking for ya!

HI Mandi!

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a bit. Thanks for the info. I have been into Health Food Store. Michele and her husband are both really nice. My husband's cousin is the one that runs Zion farm! We keep trying to get together, but it just hasn't worked out yet. I will have to check out that story time. I have been to Tupelo quite a few times now-psyched they have Starbucks! One of my weaknesses. I have only been into Oxford once though. Its hard to go exploring by myself with the little ones. :)

Thanks!
