Well, I have some super early HPT strips to use. I'm thinking that I'll test starting at 10 DPO, which is tomorrow for me. I'm testing b/c I have this innate feeling that something is going on that might be preventing me from maintaining a pregnancy (like low progesterone). And, I want to be very proactive about it so that my midwife can do levels as soon as I get a BFP. She recommended this to me when I had my chemical pregnancy in March. (I think she recommended it based on my frequent breastfeeding of my toddler).

I do NOT enjoy the 2WW at all. This time it's been much easier since I was away from my HPTs for the first 8 days DPO. Of course, now I'm home and can't keep myself from peeking in the bathroom closet to look at the tests. LOL.

LOL Thanks for all the BD motivation! I think we've definitely got this O covered whenever it happens. (Despite a fall-out with DH last night when for the 2nd time he said no to BD on the day I get a +OPK, ugh!)

Sourire That sounds crazy! I hope it goes away or you figure out what's going on soon!

callieollie hug2.gif Seeing BFNs has to be the worst thing about TTC. Until recently I felt the same and absolutely refused to test b/c I couldn't stand the thought of another one. I'm not sure what's changed now, just desensitized I guess...and I have all these wonderful people on here to get through the 2WW with!

Dandy Lion Ouch! Do you remember if you had such bad cramps before you started any birth control? I always think it's best to follow your gut and if you feel like you need to be seen and figure out what's going on, do it. Better safe than sorry, right? Hopefully it passes and you don't even have to worry about it though!

Welcome.gif jlmschirm! I'm sure you'll find lots of support in this thread, and I hope we all get to celebrate a BFP with you soon!

(silly ff loves 'dips' but i'm pretty sure im only 1 dpo. i'll change some temps around slightly once i get some sustained higher temps.upsidedown.gif)

the only thing that worries me is the absence of ew cm. but i had wet cm so i think ill be ok.   (no preseed this time)

Definitely agree. You are 1DPO at the max. Otherwise your CM and OPKs wouldn't match up! Is there a chance you can "trick" him again? There's a chance that egg is still viable! Do you want me to move you to waiting to know? dust.gif

Oh, you guys, thank you so much for all the love! It means so much to me. My first beta came back looking nice, so now it's just waiting to see that it's doubling nicely. In the meantime I have some lovely pg symptoms to keep me company and make me feel like this is real! Grow, little one, grow!

Vivica, just wanted to mention that though I usually have plenty of nice ewcm, this last cycle, I didn't really have any. Go and figure! If you are having any fertile cm I think you're totally fine. Sometimes it just doesn't make it down, I think.

OdinsMommy, I thought totally for sure I would never, ever be one of those women lucky enough to get an early bfp. I don't know why, I just didn't think I would. With DS I didn't test until 18dpo, I was so sure it wouldn't show up until late. After all these months of craziness, I threw caution to the wind and...10dpo bfp! Fingers crossed you get one tomorrow!

jlmschirm, welcome! Hope you're not here for long!

Welcome jlmschirm!

OdinsMommy: Excited for you to test!

Sourire, how are you feeling?

tantylynn: Don't make me fly over there and fight DH, I'll do it!

AFM: 6-7 DPO, thinking of testing Saturday or Sunday if temps are still up. 11DPO is usually when my temp crashes. If FF is right about my O day, I'm not feeling too hopeful as I thought I O'd 1 day later, so I probably won't test until 11DPO even if I feel "symptoms".

Well, I need to be moved to waiting to O...AF found me this morning. I admit I cried a little, especially since a lot of my pregnancy buddies from when I had Bug are either halfway through their next pregnancy, have been given the OK to foster, or just announced their pregnancy. I REALLY, REALLY want to have another one before Bug turns three (he'll be two next month)...especially if we end up only having two (which is definitely a possibility if the next one ends up being a girl...or if there are any complications with the birth like with Bug's birth).

Meanwhile, I'm just gonna concentrate on my cleaning/organizing/minimizing of the house so that things will be easier to upkeep when I DO get pregnant...and I'll be telling DH that we are gonna be doing the BD every stinkin' day next fertile period...no excuses!! :-P

gemmine- awsome temp spik this morning! hope its a good sign!

sila- probably wont be able to sneak in another one tonight, he packing for a trip and super stressed.  but i think im good, my temps are never above 98.0 before o, unless im realy sick. so its a pretty clear indicator to me that iv o'd   you can move to to the 2ww. thanks!

gozal- you give me hope! h+h 9 months!!!!

texan- i hope you get to have the family you dream of. dust.gif sorry the witch found you. hug2.gif

Getting there! I hate it when a part of the test line is dark like the outside edge of this one is, but not all of it.

I can't help but think that my next test or two will go 100% positive... We've been bding every other day.  Gonna shoot for 3 days in a row as soon as I get a truly + test.  fingers crossed!  http://www.myfertilitycharts.com/webedition/20/ovulation_chart.aspx?y=2011&m=5&d=25&a=1&ev=1&mc=1&dt=0&g=0&l=&fid=19249&pub=1

jlmschirm, looking good!

vivica, hopefully the 2ww goes by swiftly and you get your bfp at the end.

texan, that darn witch.  You  do sound like you are keeping a healthy perspective despite the profound disappointment... having said that, I hope this is your last cycle trying and then you get your little bean!

gemmine, here's hoping you get a sustained temp through your 11 dpo and onward!

odinsmommy, can't wait to hear what happens after tomorrow morning for you.  Good luck!

gozal, did you have any symptoms that you might be heading towards a bfp, fairly early on?

AFM, just finishing up 10dpo, another day down and counting... this is the hardest 2ww ever.  Yesterday, I happened to notice that my nipples were tingly on and off throughout the day, and then today it is happening again.  I don't ever get this as a premenstrual symptom, so I'm not sure what's up with that.  Who knows, maybe it has something to do with nursing my DS, and isn't related to an impending bfp at all...  I don't know, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic though.  I've also felt more tired than normal, and a little off stomach-wise from time to time.  Too bad that PMS and early pregnancy signs are so similar because it messes with your mind!

Apologies in advance, this is going to be AAM. I'll catch up on personals the rest of the week. DH has a 5 day work week this week so I'll have lots of time!

So, I have moved myself to Waiting to Be Ready. When my acupuncturist said 3 months, I think I was fantasizing that we could NTNP and maybe end up with a "surprise". But, she really thinks it is best that I be completely healthy and at balance before even that and asked that we prevent. When you haven't prevented for a really long time preventing seems like such a hassle! I almost feel like I am excited about taking a "break" though and really excited at the thought of having an "easier" pregnancy because of all of this work I am doing before hand. So we are taking her advice.

I used a $ store HPT before my appointment this morning "just in case" because she had asked me to. It was whiter than white just like I expected. But it was fun to waste a test! She did points to as she said "encourage my womb" and hopefully trigger AF. It will be interesting to see how my body responds! I don't think I have ever been so excited to bleed! I also have a bunch of little seeds in my ears that are supposed to encourage my uterus to do something...

In other news I seem to have picked up some terrible and gross stomach bug and am pretty sure I have/am getting an ulcer. So painful. So I need to make an appt with my GP for that and my acupuncturist requested I get hormone level blood work done then too.

I am also really proud of my DH who has been taking his supplements faithfully and after watching the trailer for and reading about (we haven't even seen it yet!) the new documentary "Forks Over Knives" says he is really ready to make some diet changes. This is something we have disagreed on for years! Hoping he can follow through this time! My acupuncturist also wants to see him. So, I'm hoping in 3 months perhaps his health and fertility will be increased too! Still nothing we can do about him being on a bike assignment though.

I'm still going to be checking in and supporting and rooting for all of you the next 3 months! But I really need to find some things to do to stay busy and make that time fly by! DH's B-day and our anniversary are in Sept. so if that is when the acupuncturists gives us the go ahead I'm hoping there will be much celebratory BDing! Thanks for reading my saga!

Lots going on today!

jlms: Welcome! Good luck with ovulation and enjoy your BD.

Odinsmom: good luck test tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Tantylynn: Yay for BD! Hopefully you get good temps tomorrow :)

vivica: You still had fertile CM, so don't worry. Good luck in your 2ww.

Gozal: "enjoy" those pregnancy symptoms! I hope your levels stay good, and you have a healthy pregnancy. I'm so happy for you!

Gemmine: hope your temps stay nice and high for you.

Texromantic: So sorry AF found you. I totally understand why you want another one. My dd is 5 now, and I feel like the longer it takes, the less they'll be able to relate to each other. Hopefully good things happen this summer though! I should take your advice and work on preparing my home for pregnancy now.

Tenzins: My breasts were really tingly for a few days too around the same time. I kept making my dh grab them to see if they were any bigger! Good luck with your wait. When do you plan on testing?

Sila: Although I'm sure it will be a little hard to wait, I'm sure you'll be much more relaxed and prepared for a healthy pregnancy when the time comes. I look forward to hearing your updates as well, especially about how your acupuncture is going.

AFM: My cramps are gone for the most part, so that's a huge relief. I'm pretty much okay with the fact I'm most likely not preggo. My house is really drafty, and February just wouldn't be ideal for a hb anyway. Hopefully things work out for March or April. FF says that AF should come tomorrow. I hope that's the case so we can try again soon!

I'm 13dpo and tested today - BFN.  I would expect a BFP by now so I'm just waiting on AF to start on Friday.  I was hoping to be pregnant before my SIL had her baby at the end of this month - I thought it might ease the difficulty of seeing a newborn. Plus, i started ttc 9 months before she did and now she's going to have a baby and I'm not even pregnant.  It's so hard not to just want to give up trying.

jlmschirm - Hope for a +OPK for you today!!! Get on with the BDing.

TenzinsMama - I'm so anxious for you!!! I hope you get your BFP!!! Isn't it frustrating how PMS and early pregnancy symptoms seem one in the same?

SilaMarila - I really hope all your diligence and intentions pay off quickly for you and your DH. What a team you obviously are! I hope the time passes quickly and successfully as your body gets ready for baby.Hope you feel better soon. Those stomach bugs are awful!

callieollie & Dandy Lion - I'm still holding out for a BFP for you two.

callieollie - I'm so sorry you're going through those difficult emotions. I pray you get a BFP soon.

Dandy Lion - Sounds like you have a great attitude about getting a BFP next cycle. I love my April DS. It was a great time for a birth and newborn.

AFM - I had a very very faint line this morning at 10 DPO. Perhaps evap or perhaps I'll have a stronger line tomorrow!

vivica: Thanks! It's the exact same temp today. Just trying to hold out through 11DPO!

jlms: That looks positive to me! But I use the digitals because I'm pretty sure I would go on a Godzilla rampage with the strips, not knowing exactly what's positive.

Tenzinsmama: Thanks! Are you holding out to a specific day to test?

Sila: I hope the "waiting" period flies by for you and you get a BFP on your first try with the acupuncturist. Also, I hope that stomach bug vacates the premises ASAP!

DandyLion: Your chart looks excellent! Frequent BD's, possible implantation dip, and your temps are still high even though AF is due tomorrow. I guess one more day will tell us something but maybe you'll be in that group of women who get late BFPs this time.

callieollie: I'm sorry. I know how you feel. The number of pregnant/just gave birth women I know is in the double digits. My sister-in-law (same age as me) is due next month, got pregnant on her first try with various reproductive health issues, high school friend due in September from a whoopsies on Christmas Day. Sigh. Then I got pregnant and had a miscarriage so there have been days where I'm like, my body can't even hold a baby. It sucks. I have to just keep believing it will happen for me, and you too.

Odinsmommy: Did you take a picture? Can you post it? Was the line clear, or had color but faint? If the line had color and was just faint, that's a BFP and we need to post dancing veggies. Let us know!!

CallieOllie...   It's hard, isn't it? Watching so many other people achieve our dream of motherhood. Sigh. Does it help to say how much more we will appreciate our children because we worked so much harder to have them? Hugs!!

I think it does help to say that, I think it will help even more when we have our BFPs and can appreciate all the hard work and personal growth that went into getting one! I love your optimism Stevi, so much it makes me wish your your BFP every day!

cbaa2010...   Awww! Thank you!

AAM...   Boom! I took my first opk for the cycle today, in facvt I almost forgot and had to squeeze out the urine to test with. Anyway, it is a blaring positive!!! I hadn't started to BD this cycle at. all. Luckily I had planned to start today and had a new donor lined up for this morning. Whew! I'm now sitting at my desk working on a school assignment with fresh sperm held in place with an Instead Cup. Hopefully the sperm is already where it needs to be, and is ready to catch the egg that will soon be passing by.

I've scheduled him again for tomorrow am, and am contemplating whether or not to schedule Spicy for the evenings, or just stick to Salesman this cycle since I have so much school work to deal with.
