"Waiting to O" Support - Page 2

I guess I haven't ovulated yet...or I did and my temps aren't as high as they usually are.  Typically my post-O temps are over 98, but since Wednesday they've been 97.7-97.8.  I haven't slept well in the past month, so perhaps the quality of my temps aren't that great.  I've been temping anywhere from 3:30-5:00 AM this month because it's the best I can do (I get up around 5 AM).  It's very frustrating and I'm doing my best not to get too worked up about it.  argh.  I'll probably have a small meltdown come Monday if things haven't changed...haha.  Thanks for asking!  Good luck on the TWW!!!

That stinks! Here's hoping those temps jump. I understand about the sleep stuff. I temp between 3-6. Usually after I've had the longest stretch of sleep so sometimes that's at 3:30, sometimes 5:30. Fingers crossed for you.

jlmschirm, how are you doing? Are you still around? How's the "waiting to O" going?  I'm a lot less anxious this cycle about O coming, but maybe that's because I'm so sleep deprived...haha.  I got some of the wondfo OPKs off Amazon (SUPER cheap!!!) and I like them much better than the smiley/no smiley digital OPK.  It's kinda fun seeing the lines get darker each day.  Last cycle I just did the OPKs in the morning, but now I'm doing them in the morning and in the afternoon.  I really hate holding it in for 4 hours. I usually drink a ton of water, probably too much, so now I don't allow myself to drink much past 11 or 12 and "hold it in" starting around 12 PM so I can test at 4PM.  Yesterday I was okay, but pretty thirsty.  I took little micro-sips of water and that helped a ton.  Curious to see how you're doing in this part of the cycle...

Hey Casmer, I'm still here.  Thanks for asking about me.  Things have taken an interesting turn this month. In the past three weeks my husband has applied, interviewed and been given 90% assurance that he is going to get a job as an assistant baseball coach at a college in Iowa.  We currently live in KY.  If he gets this job and they are fairly certain he will, he will have to move Aug 1. I will stay in KY with my son until we can sell our house and until I can find a job in Iowa.  It is absolutely crazy how fast this has all happened.  I'm still temping and such, but baby making has been the furthest thing from my mind in the midst of all the other (albeit exciting) chaos. So, this is O week for me...but I've had zero EWCM or even watery CM.  Haven't even used an opk. Which is good I guess since dh has been in Iowa since Wednesday anyway. He is coming home today/ Our 8th wedding anniversary is this week (Tues) and that's close to the time when I think I'll likely O so I'm sure we'll get a good shot or two at bd then - but honestly - pregnancy would only increase the chaos at this point so I'm feeling very conflicted.  I don't want to give up on ttc since I've only just recently in the last 4 months gotten dh on board and excited about it.  But I also know how much harder it will be for me to find a new job when I'm pg and anticipating a maternity leave...

So...that's what's up with me :-) Glad to hear that you found those opks. I think that's what I have too...isn't it funny how just thinking about having to hold your pee makes you feel like you have to pee??

Wow that's nuts! But great news, right?  How do you feel about moving?  I agree, I think being pregnant at this time would make things much more complicated and stressful.  I hope your house sells quickly!!

I'm waiting to O, usually around CD17-19. Imagine my surprise this morning when for the second morning in a row FF gave me crosshairs...on 9DPO!!! Nutso! I think my temps are just whacky  and FF is wrong, because the last two cycles post-O temps were clearly in the 98+ degree range. Any thoughts?

FF totally did that to me this morning!  I also got a +OPK this morning and when I entered the + in it removed the cross hairs.  Of course my chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/casmer) is pretty rocky looking (from insomnia).  I think FF gave the crosshairs because this morning's temp was the third highest since CD13.  That's just my guess though.  I was kinda bummed there for a second.  Last month, my temps were even worse and I'm not convinced FF gave me accurate crosshairs then.  If your post-O temps are usually 98+ then I would go with that because I'm the same way and FF seems to like giving me cross hairs at what I consider low temps.  I think you can manually change it...but I would probably just wait and see if it adjusts on its own.  Also, I think a dotted line means it's not 100% sure.

I apologize if I'm rambling...I've had horrible insomnia now for 6-7 weeks and I think it's starting to make my brain not function too well...haha.

Thanks casmer! I'm going to wait and see, and start peeing on OPKs too. I still think it's early, but I guess I have plenty of little ICs to use!
