My baby always bit my nipple and it really hurts. How can I stop her from doing it?

Well first of all you need to give us a few more clues - lol, how old is your baby, do you think it could be due to teething, has bb always bit since beginning or has it just started etc ............

Ah - you posted another thread today?!!  OK so this can be more a toddler thing, do you think you could tell your baby that biting is not acceptable?, removing her from the breast, putting on a sad face, saying that she is hurting momma when she does this - sometimes they stop.  Depending on the character of your baby sometimes giving them an explosive reaction can scare them from nursing, so unless it's a genuine, ow and it took me by surprise i wouldn't recommend this way of reacting!

If this doesn't work then you have to be ready, you may feel just before she goes to bite that she moves her tongue further back in her mouth - she won't bite her own tongue, when you feel this quickly slip your little finger into the side of the mouth to break the seal and stop the jaw from completely closing - this technique works well normally.

She could be getting her 2 yo molars as well, they can start very early so a little homeopathic medicine such as arnica, cammomile may help her too, watch out for red cheeks, drooling etc for signs.

Good luck - it will pass, as many things do!
