Any reason not to use microfiber cleaning cloths as inserts?

DH and I are heading out shopping today, and I was going to pick up a multipack of the microfibre cleaning cloths they have at costco. I think they're marketing as being 'automotive', so I don't know if that makes a difference. Obviously I'd strip and clean the heck out of them before stuffing them into our pocket dipes, but is there any other reason you can think of not to use them? They're super cheap, possibly cheaper than buying the microfibre at the fabric store, so if there's no other reason not to, then I'd love to use them. I have a few dipes that are short on inserts.

I have also used them as inserts in my pockets.  They are just as absorbent as the "real" inserts.

They're fine, just be careful of any colorful cloths, b/c I bought blue ones once and they ran blue dye over all my diapers.  :-(

Thanks ladies!

The ones I bought are a bit long. Can I just trim them, or should I get my MIL to actually serge the ends of them? I don't know if they will fray at all.
