Name: (whatever you would like to be called or like us to know): TreeRose
* EDD: 2/13/12

* Age: 32/33
* Location: Staunton, VA
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: first try!
* What number child is this for you: 2
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH of almost 2 years, DD almost 1 year (8/29), sweet dog and grumpy cat
* Birth plans/preferences: We're using a CNM at the hospital this time - first appointment 7/18.
* Anything else you'd like to share: I'm nervous. Birthing center / au natural didn't work for us last time and it was traumatic and disappointing. I'm hoping with a CNM I can avoid medical complications (like needing IV fluids) and continue on to a natural birth.

Hi all- I just found out today at my ultrasound that I miscarried. The heart stopped beating, probably a week or two ago. I went ahead & had a D&C tonight, since we're leaving for vacation Friday and we'd like to avoid any traumatic events while visiting our extended family. This sucks, there's no other way to put it. Eight months of TTC and now we're back at square one. Wishing all of you the best and for healthy, happy pregnancies!

Oh no, such sad news, I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss, especially after taking 8 months to conceive in the first place.  Yes, it sucks, it truly does.  I hope that in time you reach a place of healing and peace with this.

* How long it took to you to get your BFP: surprise!
* What number child is this for you: 2
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Husband, 3 yr old daughter, 1 boxer dog (who is the best nanny ever!)
* Birth plans/preferences: not sure yet
* Anything else you'd like to share: Huge surprise! Wasn't planned at all, and we are not quite sure just exactly how it happened. (We use condoms, and neither of us are aware of any malfunctions.) I'm happy, it's just bad timing for us. Both of us are down to minimal part time employment, and are barely scraping by even with all the help we can get. Plus, last year we moved 1/2 way cross country & left all extended family members behind. I'm not sure that was the best decision for us now, but not sure I want to go back either.

I passed a placenta last night (Jul 9 around 1030pm) after bleeding since late Thursday night. Am going to check on Mon for a twin, but I doubt it.

Good luck to all of the February Mamas. I will post if anything changes, or if the smallest chance is actually true.

I lost my baby today.  It was all of a sudden.  There was a heart beat two weeks ago.  This morning I had bleeding and cramps.  Went in for an ultrasound as soon as I saw blood, no heartbeat.  I choice to have a D& whatever the heck it's called.  What a day.  I am ok.  Everything happens for a reason.  I was so far along, 8 weeks 5 days and I had symptoms.  It just happens.

Good luck to all you mamas.  I have really enjoyed reading all these posts and being a part of this online community.  I am going to try for a baby after one cycle.  So I may be back :)  -Violet
