ANYTHING ELSE TO SHARE: I love Mothering.Com, I honestly do feel connected and accepted though these silly threads! I have never blogged (is that what this is?) Face book doesn't count because that's just friends and family! Here I know that my wacko "hippy" attachment parenting ideals are in good company.

Many blessings.

Name: Lori
* EDD: 2/14/12
* Age: 33
* Location: Top of MS/ Memphis
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 14 months. Was figuring dh was "out of lead". Nope! When we stopped expecting to expect, we discovered it wasn't the mattress causing tiredness!
* What number child is this for you: 4, It's my husband's very first ever double pink lines, pregnancy, hormonal woman experience. He's shocked and so very excited.
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Mike 38, myself, Brandon 10, Cavan 9, Fiona 7
* Birth plans/preferences: Would love to find a midwife! Would love homebirth! Don't think my first timer dh could handle that though. We'll see as we go.
* Anything else you'd like to share: The kids are proud and helpful. They remind me of what nurse says, what not to eat, keeping water going, and ordering me to nap (oh darn). They are so loving! My ex-hub moved down the street and the kids are in-between as they wish! So, I may mention stuff pertaining to that. Just to be clear, I'm married to Mike. :)

I have some sad news to share. I am at the beach on vacation with my family and I started to bleed. The folks at the er told me that the baby has probably been gone for a week or 2 . The miscarriage has definitely progressed today, so I guess that is that. For some reason I never felt like this pregnancy was the real deal so I guess my intuition was correct. So far I am just focusing on enjoying the rest of this trip with my daughter, it really has driven home again what a blessing she is. Best wishes to all of you, and hopefully dh and I will have better luck next time.

So sorry AimeeBaby, I'm sure that it's heartbreaking.  I wish you the best recovery possible.

* How long it took to you to get your BFP: a very happy accident
* What number child is this for you: 1
* Birth plans/preferences: I think a homebirth but uncertain if it's possible and not sure since it's my first.  I am worried about a hospital birth because most people here think elective cesarians are completely fine... so trying to explain how anti interventions I am is a challenge.
