CGWife and Milano, my heart goes out to you both. Having a miscarriage is devastating. May you find some peace in the coming weeks. We will be thinking of you. And I agree with you, Milano, there have been so many losses on this board. Seeing as though I still have yet to hear my little one's heartbeat, I know miscarriage remains a real possibility for me as well. I hope and pray for all of our sakes that we will not be seeing anymore loss.

How long it took to you to get your BFP: We decided it was time to make a baby and got pregnant the same night.  I knew at conception... I don't pee on sticks.

What number child is this for you: I believe it's #2 and #3!  I'm denying ultrasound and doppler until 20 weeks.

Family : DH, DD just turned 4, 30 dairy goats, 200 chickens, 2 dogs and a cat.

Birth plans/preferences: We live remote and are VBAC, so if there are 2 babies... we'll likely have a lovely, gentle hospital birth with a very cool OB whose wife is a doula/midwife.
Anything else you'd like to share: I'm a farmer, feeding 40-70 families a week.  My hubby is gone 6 months of the year flying and guiding big game hunts, and my Mom is our closest neighbor (a mile away).

*Anything else you'd like to share: I have always known I would choose homebirth if I was lucky enough to have healthy, low-risk pregnancies. I am thrilled that my husband, who is a doctor, has been open, supportive and excited even though homebirth is new to him and he knows a little too much about all the things that could (but probably won't) go wrong because of his experience with high-risk, high-intervention hospital births.
