Hi, all!

Name: Laura

EDD: February 18-19

Age: 30 (5.18)

Number of Cycles TTC: Technically 2nd, Had a Chemical 3 Cycles ago, which was a whoops!, and decided to start TTC early

What number child for me: #2

Family: DH Chris (25) & Odin (4.22.09) + Dog Bailey

Birth plans: Been planning for an HBAC since last summer and will keep planning for one

Any other tidbits: Still nursing very frequently my 25+ month old DS and suspect will likely be tandem nursing. Also, actually hoping to gain little weight this pregnancy since I will be eating much healthier and have plenty of fat to give to my growing baby so I'm willing to take all advice regarding best foods for nourishing us (casein-free though for my nursling).

How long it took you to get your BFP: 9 months of waiting for menstruation to return after last Depo shot, followed by four months of two-week anovulatory cycles, followed by 50mg Clomid to stimulate ovulation, followed by BFP--so anywhere from 1 month to 14 months depending on how you count it. :-)

Birth plans/preferences: High-risk hospital birth, as natural as possible (really hoping to avoid induction or C-section); planning to hire doula

Name: Jennifer
* EDD: Feb 7th

* Age: 31
* Location: Portland, OR
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 14 months including a mc at 6 wks in November, and mc at 10 wks in March.
* What number child is this for you: Number three for me, first for my partner
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Partner James and I have been together for 3 years, 11 yo Max and 8 yo Maizy, who are really looking forward to a new baby, plus three kitties.
* Birth plans/preferences: We will be birthing at home with a midwife in the water. Both of my previous births were water birth at a hospital.
* Anything else you'd like to share: I've just been trying to cope with the worry of another miscarriage. James and I are getting married July 20th, at which point I will be 11 wks. Trying to decide if I want to get an us to check in on the little one before then for peace of mind. I am uninsured, so we have to pay everything out of pocket. Health care in America sucks, especially when you have to forgo routine care or make decisions based on personal finances.

Oh! & p.s this is for Dora- my heritage is indian and my DH is african-american- so we've got an inter-cultural bi-racial thing going on too! :D congrats!!!
