Hi everyone!  Wow, I thought I would be one of the first in here, since I found out pretty early.  With my son, *I* started the DD thread :lol

* Anything else you'd like to share: DH really wants a girl.  With my son, I *knew* I was having a boy.  Totally was convinced, and couldn't be dissuaded.  With this one, I have no clue.  DH thinks its a girl, but I don't know if that is wishful thinking, or if he has a gut feeling.

* How long it took to you to get your BFP: This was actually an "oops" pregnancy. We weren't planning on trying until later this summer, but also weren't being especially careful, so oh well! :)

* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH, DD (28 months), two sweet kitties. 

* Birth plans/preferences: Hoping for a Home Waterbirth
* Anything else you'd like to share: This is my third pregnancy. My first ended in a missed miscarriage and was a very traumatic experience, so I am paranoid about miscarriage. I also was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix at 20 weeks with my DD and had an emergency cerclage placed and bedrested for 3 months. Luckily she was born healthy and full-term!

I've heard great things about her too!  There's actually quite a few decent choices in the area, which is nice!  I was originally going to interview them all, but now that I'm pregnant I kinda hope the first one ends up being perfect so I don't have to.

Anything else you'd like to share:  We had our first appointment and ultrasound today.  The midget is measuring four days bigger than expected (I know my O date, confirmed with OPKs) and has a heartbeat far exceeding what they wanted to see (100), so we're very optimistic!

* Anything else you'd like to share: We were infertile for over a decade between DD and DS. My pregnancies are rough on my body, so we planned not to have any more after DS. This is a big, huge shock for us.
