Hi Dr. Sears - My daughter will be 2 this winter when we plan to travel to Mexico.
We've been selectively vaccinating and the Hep B vaccine is not in my plan for her for a long time.
It just occurred to me though that maybe I should consider starting it this summer so she'll be partially immune for the trip to Mexico.
What do you think? Does travel to a higher-risk country really put her at a higher risk of contracting the disease?
Thanks for your feedback.
