Hi! My name is Nicki and I am a new mommy. My son, Noah, is one month old today. I was very confident prior to his birth that I'd have no problem with this mothering thing but boy was I wrong!

Our biggest issue right now is breastfeeding... I'm not producing enough milk. I've also dealt would some post partum depression issues but things are getting better with my mom and hubby here to support me.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and learning all I can from this forum!

Have you found your local LLL group for support with the breastfeeding issues?

Hi!  I have a 14 m.o. and a much older (teen) son.  Yes, breastfeeding and new mothering can be very overwhelming and difficult, regardless of the circumstances!  The things that helped me the most were a wonderful husband, my LLL group, a Mom's Group run by our hospital, and getting to know other moms.  I found this website about 6 months after our son was born, and it's been helpful, also.  Good luck with everything, and welcome!
