Trying to Concieve

Thread Starter

Hi,

I have been trying to concieve now for 2 years. I have had 2 successful pregnancies but this time things seem harder and just not happening.

I have been to my gyno & i was told to lose weight. Which i have been trying to do. I have also tried taking Maca powder for a month now but it seems to have taken my period away all together. So i am going to stop taking it.

Is there anything else i can take that might help with me concieving?

Thanks

I would suggest seeing a licensed natruopathic physician for some hormonal testing and overall assessment of the many aspects of fertility.  Some women have an imbalance in estrogen/progesterone/testosterone, others have adrenal fatigue, and others have thyroid issues.  Many women find acupuncture to be helpful with fertility - if you would like to try acupuncture, make sure to ask the practitioner you are considering whether they specialize in fertility.  Taking herbal supplements may be helpful, but only if it is the right supplement for your unique physiology.  It's best to visit a licensed practitioner before taking these types of supplements.

Warmly,

Dr. Jennifer
