Gardasil and arthritis

I am 23 and I received all the Gardasil shots when I was 20 which was recommended by my Dr after being SA. (I was very uninformed) Shortly after I got them I started having arthritic symptoms and I haven't been officially diagnosed by the Dr for having arthritis. However a neurologist did say I have it badly in my back last year.

Supposedly this is not a side effect of this vaccine but I never had this issue before the vax (although I did have other back issues). I can feel it in my hands a lot now though too.

So what do you think, did the vax cause it? How would/could I report this now that it has been so long? Is there anything I can do about it?

You can make a VAERS report at any time.

The deadline for filing a claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program is 3 years from the first symptoms of the vaccine injury. http://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/filing_deadlines.htm

Here is the Gardasil package insert. Arthritis is mentioned 11 times if you do a search in the document.

You'll have to read the package insert with skepticism, as the controls used in the side effect studies were actually aluminum (AAHS) or a solution containing everything in the Gardasil vaccine except aluminum and the antigen, which they untruthfully call a "saline placebo." So there was never a true study done to find out the real incidence of side effects, as it was never tested against a real saline placebo. And why in the world did they combine the results for the aluminum shot "control" and the "saline placebo?"

TY for the reply. I couldn't find anything regarding arthritis with it before. I think I may have just missed the 3 year window but I will have to call the Dr and find out the exact date of the shot.

And remember it is 3 years from the start of symptoms, not the date of the shot.
