How long will Floravit keep?

I opened a bottle of Floravit about 4 weeks ago, took a couple doses and stopped (I'm pregnant and the taste really was unbearable).  I'd like to try again.  The bottle says it only keeps 4 weeks.  Anyone know how strictly I should follow this?  Can I get away with using this?

You should be able to smell/taste if it's off. I don't think it will turn toxic or anything, just that the fruit juices will start to ferment or whatever.

You can also freeze it to make it last longer (or to make what you have left last at least!) I used to freeze it in an ice cube tray (filled less than halfway) and then popped a couple of cubes in the bottle whenever it was getting low, they'd melt overnight in the fridge...
