Packing & Moving-Toy Storage

If things go our way (FINGERS CROSSED!!), we will be moving around 8/1.  I want to pack all toys/books/puzzles/crafts in an organized manner, also promoting "toy rotation" in the new house, which we never really incorporated here.  My thoughts are that to make "toy rotation" work easily, I would use clear sterilite/rubbermaid type bins for packing/moving & would actually pack with rotation in mind as I pack this house up.  

Does this sound like a good plan?  Any other ideas?  I have a big problem with cardboard boxes for long term storage because of bugs.  

Now I need to find out more about "toy rotation"!!!

I am struggling with this now because I want to do the same, but I don't like the idea of bringing more plastic into this house. They off gas and smell forever, and even years later, when you open the box, it smells like plastic. But then of course the cardboard boxes aren't sealed up and protected from mold, bugs, etc, as you say. I don't know, it's a dilemma for me.
