Hi, all--newly pregnant person here, 6 weeks along with first child, looking for some pregnancy buddies.  I just got my BFP a few weeks ago, after some arduous work to get my body back on track after Depo.

My EDD is February 3, 2012; I would like to have as natural a birth as possible, but that's limited by my clotting condition.  Between 24 and 26 I had two DVTs and a pulmonary embolism, so I'm on two injections of Lovenox a day and I'll have to be on a heparin drip during labor. 

I had to interview three different OBs in the area before I found one who didn't insist, with me not even pregnant yet, that I would have to be induced.  I'm definitely planning to hire a doula, because while I love my spouse, I don't really trust him to hold up in the face of bogus dire warnings from medical professionals.

I'm a PhD student in Madison, Wisconsin; normally I teach courses in gender, race, and sexuality, but I'm taking the summer and fall off to focus on my dissertation.  I like to play video games, especially massively multi-player online games, and I enjoy cycling.  I have bright pink hair (currently a mix of light & dark pink, orange, and a little bit of red). I'm looking forward to finally seeing the new X-Men movie this weekend.

Hello and welcome!  Congratulations on your pregnancy?  What MMORPGs do you play?  My husband has played a bunch, I really only ever played WoW although I did try a few others.
