location names?

It was recently pointed out to me that both my kids names are "locations". I'm not dead set on continuing the trend, but I still want to see if I can find any other location names that we like! Only catch is it can't be a proper noun (So no on Brooklyn, but yes on Savannah..get it?) so its pretty much impossible to go to websites and do a category search for location names, because that just brings up a bunch of cities! So far I have Allie (alley) and River. Bonus if you can pair an animal with the name.. because I love my Allie Cat and River Otter :D Any ideas?

I really like Skyler (Skylar?) for a boy or girl, and Skye is a cute nick name.. but omg, I don't know if I'm up for having a River and a Skye! Too matchy? Eh. It screams "I give my kids hippy nature names to make sure EVERYONE knows how hippy/granola/earth mama I am!" Sigh. Even though I just really like both names,  independent of eachother and any nature connotations :P But then if they most of the time went by Skyler it wouldn't be as noticeable? Hmmm.,...

Try looking at baby names some other languages - Hawaiian, Norwegian, Spanish, etc. to see what comes up.
