Yes, someone actually said it to me. Hmmm...OK.

 

I did not know that gay boys were some sort of socially inept creatures. I would never guess it since my house is full of his friends.

Well, people assume that every gay kid is bullied and isolated I guess.

My great grandma always said "some people are just born stupid" and I do believe this is a clear cut case of congenital stupidity.  I'm sorry you had to deal with that but it sounds like you handled it well.

Yes, and I think we all can agree that "gay kids" are bullied and isolated because they lack the social skills of the hetero kids, it couldn't be because of hetero kids who are raised by ignorant, close-minded adults who fear what they don't understand.  Noooo, that couldn't be it.  

 

I just keep telling myself that as long as those of us who raise our children to be open-minded individuals who accept others for whatever they are, keep having kids, things will get better.  Things will get better.  Things will get better.  Things will get better.  

 

Bravo to you for your strength and your ability to have a sense of humor about the idiocy presented to you by this person.
