Just introducing myself!  SAHM with two BFing boys, three months and two and a half years old. Holisitic family, Indigenous roots, in Long Beach.  Hope to see some of you at our local farmer's markets?

Hi! I'll introduce myself too! I am a new momma of a beautiful baby boy - 7 weeks. AP, BF, CD, family bed. Moving to Long Beach end of this month! Maybe I'll see ya out at the Farmers Market. Which one do you go to?

Awesome! There's a farmer's market in LB six days a week, so it depends when I need produce :).  I like the one on Sundays, it has a lot of cool stuff for kids.  I always try to make the weds one, because the melon and corn guy has the best organic stuff.  You'll love it here!!

Hi mama! I'm in the Anaheim area which is close to Long Beach. Got married on the majestic Queen Mary so we are huge fans of the LBC! Just wanted to say howdy and will be going to the farmers market you mention one of these Sundays soon!

Wish I could find an AP playgroup, anyone know of one in the LA/OC area? TIA!

There is an AP group on yahoo and they have playgroups in both the LA and OC areas!

Have you looked into Granola Babies in Costa Mesa - there's a BFing group on Wednesdays at 1-3 that's open to all who BF - we gather and discuss a BFing topic, and then spend time sharing and playing.

Hi Neighbors!

I live in downtown LBC. We're actually moving this week, but only 5 blocks away, because we love this town :)

I usually go to the Friday farmers market, because it's close and we can just walk. Sometimes we do the Sunday one and hit up whole foods across the street before heading back.

Hi everyone!

 I wanted to put this out there to see if anyone would be interested for Halloween.

I thought maybe we could have a get together for the kiddos at my home in Long Beach.

We don't do trick or treating or scary type halloween stuff, but we are festive and like to dress up. DD is 1 1/2. Perhaps we could have a small harvest party on Sunday, Oct 30th. Healthy snacks, treats and maybe some games for the little ones. If anyone is interested post here, then maybe I can start another thread!

I'll introduce myself too...though I just moved from Long Beach to West LA and am looking for mama friends! I have a 12-month old BF boy, and am pregnant with #2 (due in February). I work full time but would love to find mamas with similarly aged kids for weekend playdates, and company :)
