Exposure to fifths disease at 6 weeks

I recently found out my niece has fifths disease - I was around her when she was likely contagious, and three people I am living with right now were also around her when she was likely contagious.

I got a blood test on fri but i'll have to wait til next week for the results - my mom is freaking out and thinks I should go away for a few days since I'm staying with people who were exposed - my thought is that i would have already caught it, right?

A friend had the same thing happen--exposure during the first trimester. I know she had a bunch of extra ultrasounds and never developed the virus and her daughter was born completely healthy. But...follow up with your care provider and go from there. In the meantime, anything that could prevent/ward off illness is probably a good idea--i.e. cutting out sugar, upping water and vitamin C, etc.
