This has happened the last 3 times I went to the gym (1x per week). Each time, I nursed my little one, went to gym, and went on an eliptical trainer for 20-30 minutes. Didn't even work out that hard as I am starting to get back into it. I drink a whole bottle of water (16oz?) trying to keep hydrated. When I come back from the gym, I feel great, but my breasts totally feel empty! All three times it took a good 5 hours or so until I felt like my breasts were getting any milk in them. DS felt it, too, poor thing. I also snack before (a yogurt or a granola bar) and after (cheese stick, fruit, etc.). I am NOT dieting at all. The machine says I burned 200 calories or whatever, which I think is not that much. I wear a nice sports bra that's not too tight. So why is this happening? I read other threads where people say they can exercise and have no supply issues. But I am sure my supply is affected right after. My overall supply is not affected. Anything I'm missing here? I am going again tomorrow morning and really hope it doesn't happen again cuz it's so hard when the baby cries and we both know there's no milk!
