Government Report States that Formaldehyde is Officially Carcinogenic

As a selective vaxer, I've always said that my views and decisions are never set in stone; they evolve with new science and new knowledge.  This piece of news has made me rethink doing vaccines with formaldehyde.  For example, I'm no longer so sure that I want to expose my children to a KNOWN carcinogen in order to combat an UNKNOWN and unquantifiable chance of getting or spreading polio.  Any thoughts?  Will this news have any impact on your vaccination decisions?

seems like a good place for a comparison list of those with or without formaldehyde. anyone know offhand?

From what I understand, the chemical properties of the formaldehyde used in vaccines is a synthetic version of the formaldehyde naturally produced by our bodies, which is a different chemical make-up than industrial formaldehyde. I wasn't able to download the report for more clarification, but here it is, in case someone else wants to try:

1) Anthrax

2) All DTaP's and DTaP combo vaxes

3) DT and all Tdaps

4) 2 of the 3 HIB vaxes (Acthib and Hiberix)

5) Hib/hep b combo (combivax)

6) Hep B (recombivax)

7) Hepa/Hepb (twinrix)

8) Some flu vaxes

9) IPV

10) Menactra

From what I understand, it is not necessarily the formaldehyde itself, (although I have concerns and question the validity of comparing anything synthetic to a naturally occurring substance) but how the formaldehyde reacts with some of the protiens in various vaccines (the actual chemical reaction) and the potential negative effect this has on the immune system.
